INTERVIEWING SOMEONE FOR YOUR BIOGRAPHY
The Biography of __
You need to decide what information you want to include in your Biography. You will want to write the important and interesting things about your chosen person. Below are the questions which our third graders thought of. Ask the questions which you find most interesting. You may ask other questions, too, or the adult you are interviewing may tell you other things which you decide to write down and share with your readers.
You may choose to practise your note-taking skills when you write down the answers, or you may decide to write full sentences; it’s up to you. You will be writing up the Biography in school.
If possible, ask for up to 3 photos of your chosen person from their childhood, early adulthood and recently. You may also draw a portrait of them. (Photos may be scanned at school and returned, if necessary.)
